Hope is the little engine we all rely upon to keep our spirit alive. That combined with adventure is the secret to fulfillment. Along the road of life we all have trials and tribulations that keep us in check, help us grow and become wise.

We all go through the motions, feeling these highs and lows, and it is OK to be vulnerable at times. Life’s little lessons are that basis of who are, where we are going and who we will become. Endure the pain, embrace the love of family and friends and by all means share.

Without sharing we are alone and left without much zest for enduring. There is only one “you”. Embrace yourself and others will embrace you as well. Stand tall even despite the falls! No fear!

Robert Vasvary is an electrical engineer and avid boatsman who lives happily with his wife and son in Boca Raton, Florida. He can often be found in Quito, Ecuador, where his wife’s family resides. The Big House is the first book in a series.
